Melbourne suburbs with the most house sale listings

Melbourne’s auction clearance rate continues to sizzle each weekend with plenty of competition among prospective buyers.

Domain Group has released data showing the Melbourne suburbs with the most properties for sale in March, giving buyers an insight into the areas that have the most choice on offer.

The data shows generally, the further out from the CBD the more choice buyers have and the more property is available.

The listing data for property further out from the CBD is listed below, as for property listings with five kilometres of the CBD, Richmond, Toorak, South Yarra, Prahran and port Melbourne all had at least 38 properties for sale in March.

A little further out, between five and ten kilometres from the city, the suburbs with the most choice for buyers were Balwyn North, Kew and Preston.
