Melbourne’s ugliest homes featured on anonymous Instagram page

Rent

Ugly homeowners be warned! There’s an anonymous Instagram identity stalking the streets of Melbourne, looking to publicise the city’s ugliest homes for a laugh on @uglymelbournehouses.

The Instagram user goes by the name of Frank Lloyd Wrong, a humorous play on words of American architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

The Instagram user has 4,500 followers and is sure to keep rising, with followers posting their own photos and scathing comments on some of the most unattractive abodes in the city.

If your property is a shocker on the eye, it could just find its way on the blog.

Ugly is not the only criteria for dwellings to hit the page, there’s plenty of cases of the unusual and bizarre getting a guernsey.

Luckily, and no doubt in hope to see the page continue, home owners offended by having their property uploaded onto the page can request for its removal.

Specific addresses are not shared on the page.

The Melbourne page has inspired a similar site in Sydney @uglysydneyproperty, while Ireland and the USA have apparently gone their own ugly house spotters, and over in Belgium Tumblr’s Ugly Belgian Houses was actually turned into a book earlier this year.
